Full training is given on the day. We are so confident with our instructors that we will have your child up and running straight away.  Safety first of course, so the junior driving experience will be with an experienced ARDS instructor and will take place in an a Ferrari 360 or Aston Martin with an automatic gearbox and full dual controls.

This is a life time memory which they can tell their friends about in school, with a certificate to prove they have driven one of the most desirable cars in the world.

We just thought we had to share this one with you, we’ll explain why in a moment. It’s a piece of in-car footage from Ford’s manufacturer launch of the new Focus RS around a private test track. The instructor is Andy McKenna, a regular driving gift instructor and the driver of our high speed passenger ride cars.

Andy’s a Yorkshireman with a strong sense of humour, but Ford’s corporate machine told everyone they had to be neutral in their accent when speaking in the traditional BBC Newsreader way. Our newly aquired Atom is proving a massive hit, so we thought we’d let you know a bit more about Aerial Atoms and who makes them. Made by The Aerial Motor Company, probably the most popular one isthe Superhcharged 300. This takes the already super-fast Honday VTEC engine and adds a supercharger to develop more than 300 Bhp. As one of our instructors recently commented, “You’ll probably never driver a faster accelerating car than this in your entire life…”.

As soon as we’ve figured out a way to strap ne of our cameras to it, we’ll give you a driver’s eye view of exactly what one of our Aerial Atom driving experiences is like! Meanwhile, believe what  Jeremy Clarkson said, “I have never, ever driven anything that accelerates so fast…”

We’ll be settling down in from of the TV this afternoon for the Monaco GP. In recent years, Formula One hasn’t been that exciting to watch if you’re not a true die-hard supporter, but this year, it’s been great.

It’s going to be interesting to see if Ferrari can get it’s act together, or will Brawn just keep winning everything? We think that Virgin bloke’s got a lot to do with it. Some kind of Midas Touch thing…..
